A H Freemantle is an independent, family-run funeral director with over 150 years of history serving Hampshire, tracing back to 1856. The firm operates five locations across the county - Fareham (head office), Titchfield, Park Gate, Botley and Eastleigh - combining the reach of an established group with the personal touch of a genuinely local funeral director.
The Park Gate branch on Middle Road offers the full range of funeral services, including traditional burials and cremations, direct cremations, pre-arranged funeral plans, and sustainably sourced caskets, coffins and urns, along with support with probate and memorials. As a SAIF member, the firm balances professional accreditation with an independent, family-first approach to care.
Reviewers consistently highlight the genuine warmth, kindness and understanding shown by the Freemantle team, making them a trusted choice for families in Park Gate, Southampton and the surrounding Hampshire area during a difficult time.
