William H Painter Funeral Directors was established in 1907 and has served the Birmingham area for over 110 years, now operating as part of Funeral Partners Limited, headquartered at Cumberland Court, Nottingham. The Sutton Coldfield branch, at 5 Little Sutton Road, Four Oaks, offers free parking via Harvey Drive and is an 18-minute walk from Four Oaks train station, with a portable wheelchair ramp (no disabled toilet) and home visits available by arrangement.
Services include attended and unattended (direct) cremations, burials, green and woodland funerals and repatriation, along with memorial masonry, coffin selection, ashes urns and keepsakes, floral tributes and probate services. A private chapel of rest is maintained on site, and while the branch has no dedicated service venue, the South Yardley branch offers space for around 25 attendees when required. The branch serves diverse communities including Catholic, Anglican, Muslim, Hindu, Sikh and Chinese ceremonies.
Office hours are Monday–Friday, 10am–4pm (Thursdays by appointment), with 24/7 telephone support. William H Painter is a member of the National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD), and pricing under its published standardised price list begins from £1,750, excluding third-party fees.
