Walter H Squires & Son was founded in Tiverton in 1933 by Walter H Squires, a local wheelwright, and is now run by the third generation of the family with 145 years of combined experience. The Pinhoe Road branch in Exeter provides direct cremation, attended funerals, and personalised services to families across the city, upholding the firm's long tradition of trust and integrity.
All staff at this branch are full-time professionals trained and certified by the Independent Funeral Directors College, distinguishing the firm as one of the few fully qualified independent operators in the area. With round-the-clock availability, the Pinhoe Road team supports Exeter families with the same personal, values-led approach that has defined Walter H Squires & Son for over 90 years.
