Rose Funerals and Memorials began life in 2006 as Rose Memorials, a headstone and memorial business founded by Jamie Thomson, before expanding into full funeral direction as Rose Funerals and Memorials in 2012. Now a family-run, independent operation with over a dozen years' experience arranging funerals, the firm remains owned and led by Thomson, employing around 15 full-time staff across its Stockton-on-Tees and Middlesbrough locations.
Alongside funeral arrangements, cremation and burial services, the team offers stone masonry, headstones and memorials, and luxury vehicle hire, supported by five chapels of rest, dedicated mortuary facilities and two large memorial showrooms. Rose Funerals also partners with Cloud Memories and Tree for Life to help families create lasting tributes, and provides a memorial cleaning and renovation service for existing graves.
The practice is built around compassion, dedication, integrity and respect, with a single point of contact for each family rather than a call-centre approach, and no additional charges for viewings, service rooms, out-of-hours removals or extra staff.
