Paul J Rowland Funeral Directors is an independent family business established in 2000 by Paul J Rowland and his daughter Liza J Rowland. Paul brings over 20 years in the funeral industry after 22 years' service in the Royal Corps of Signals, while Liza, a qualified funeral director and former nurse, joined the firm a decade ago. The firm has two premises serving Mid Kent: Penenden Heath (4 Hillary Road, Maidstone) and Allington (Mid Kent Shopping Centre, Castle Road).
Services include deceased transportation, coordination with clergy and venues, religious and non-religious ceremonies, traditional or biodegradable coffin selection, vehicle provision, grave preparation, press obituaries, floral ordering, order of service printing, charitable donation forwarding, and recommendations for catering and stonemasons. Both premises have chapel facilities and embalming capability, and home consultations are available.
The firm is a member of the Society of Allied and Independent Funeral Directors and operates under the Funeral Ombudsman Scheme's code of practice, emphasising personalised, pressure-free service.
