Paul J. Rowland Funeral Directors is a family-run business established in 2000 by Paul J. Rowland and his daughter Liza. Paul brought over 20 years of funeral-profession experience after a 22-year career in the Royal Corps of Signals, while Liza, who joined the firm ten years ago, holds a funeral directing diploma and previously worked as a nurse at Medway Maritime Hospital for twenty years.

The company operates two branches serving the Mid Kent area, at Penenden Heath and Allington in Maidstone, both with embalming facilities and comfortably furnished chapels of rest. Services cover collection of the deceased, coordination with clergy and venues, religious and non-religious ceremonies, coffin supply, funeral vehicles, grave preparation, press obituaries, floral tributes, printed orders of service and catering assistance.
