Mears Family Funerals has cared for bereaved families for over 100 years across four generations, led by Group CEO Steven Mears, and remains an independent, family-run business rather than part of a corporate chain. Services include attended funerals, with Basic Funeral packages from £3,000 and Bespoke Funerals from £3,375, as well as unattended direct cremation from £1,495, monument erection, international repatriation, and extras such as flowers, orders of service, urns and fingerprint jewellery, all set out in a published Standardised Price List.
The business is a member of the National Association of Funeral Directors, subscribes to the UK Funeral Directors Code of Practice, and holds SAIF accreditation, with each family assigned a single local point of contact throughout the arrangements.
