Ashdown Funeral Services was established in 1995 and now operates as part of Funeral Partners Limited, a network of around 297 branches across England and Wales. The Sidcup branch, at 232 Blackfen Road, Kent, serves the local community with free on-site parking, wheelchair access via a portable ramp, disabled toilet facilities, and two private chapels of rest where families can spend time with their loved ones.
The team arranges traditional funerals, direct cremation, burials, repatriation, memorial masonry and probate assistance, and is experienced in accommodating diverse faith traditions including Catholic, Anglican, Muslim, Hindu, Sikh and Buddhist ceremonies, as well as non-religious services. Home visits can be arranged on request, and pre-paid funeral plans are available through Choice Funeral Plans (via the FCA-authorised Alternative Planning Company Limited). Branch opening hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, with telephone lines staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year; funerals start from £1,750 excluding third-party fees. The firm is a member of the National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD).
