Keith Morgan & Sons has served the Amman Valley since 1988, growing out of M.F. Harries and Son, a Glanamman firm that supplied funeral hearses and limousines from 1959, with the Glanamman branch itself tracing its own roots back to 1974. Now led by Gareth Morgan, the firm joined the long-established Griffiths family funeral directors in 2005, linking its Cwmamman Road premises to a business with roots stretching back to 1875 as a carpentry and joinery firm, spanning five generations and sister brands including Hywel Griffiths & Sons, Evan Rees & Sons and Douglas Davies - while keeping the Keith Morgan name and local team in place.

The firm is a member of SAIF, the Society of Allied Independent Funeral Directors, and its staff hold BRAMM accreditation for memorial restoration work, with Griffiths Memorials providing masonry and headstone services alongside the funeral side of the business. A partnership with Golden Charter offers FCA-regulated pre-paid funeral plans for families wanting to plan ahead.

Its Glanamman chapel of rest was recently extended with a new conservatory, giving seating for up to 85 mourners, off-road parking, disabled access and webcast facilities for those unable to attend in person. Services are offered bilingually in Welsh and English across the wider Amman Valley area - including Ammanford, Pontarddulais, Betws, Gwaun Cae Gurwen and Llandeilo - with support available around the clock.
