Barrells has provided a family funeral service in Portsmouth since 1963, operating from Fratton Road as well as a second branch in Waterlooville. The firm is a SAIF member, inspected against the association's Code of Practice, and is an appointed representative of Golden Charter for pre-paid funeral plans. Families can use private chapels of rest and viewing rooms, and the firm maintains its own mortuary with qualified technicians and a fleet of vehicles. Barrells offers everything from a simple, non-attended direct cremation to a fully tailored standard funeral, with a 24-hour call-out service available 365 days a year.
