A & A Doyle Ltd is an independent funeral directors established in 2012 by Awdri and Allan Doyle in Galashiels, in the heart of the Scottish Borders. Awdri, whose own parents were funeral directors, trained professionally before opening the firm following her mother's death, building a business rooted in personal experience of both the funeral profession and family bereavement. Today the firm operates from two locations, Galashiels and Gorebridge, with a team that brings diverse professional backgrounds including nursing and administration to their funeral care.
The firm's guiding philosophy, that "family cares for yours", underpins everything from initial arrangement meetings held at the funeral home or in a client's own home, to fully accessible facilities and a dedicated chapel of rest for those wishing to pay their respects. A & A Doyle is a member of the National Association of Funeral Directors and the Scottish Society of Allied and Independent Funeral Directors, and has been recognised with the Funeralbooker Customer Champion Award for the quality of its customer service.
