Williamson Brothers is a family funeral directors founded in 1927 by Frederick Williamson, a local baker, making it one of only a few remaining family firms of funeral directors in North Staffordshire. It is now run by the fourth generation, Robert and Lesley Williamson, with their son James having joined the business in 2016.
The firm operates from its Birch House funeral home in Birches Head (established 1986, expanded 2008), serving Stoke-on-Trent and the Potteries area, and has a history of investing early in fleet modernisation, including being among the first in Stoke-on-Trent to introduce new hearses and limousines in 1982. The business emphasises long-serving, experienced staff alongside continual updates to its vehicle fleet and facilities.
