Walter C Parson is a seventh-generation family business established in 1842, giving it over 180 years of history serving Devon and Cornwall. The firm is one of the region's largest independent operators, with 12 locations including Torquay, Plymouth, Exeter, Newton Abbot, Plympton, Tavistock and Saltash, and qualified funeral directors available 24/7.
Services span traditional and bespoke funerals, budget and direct cremation options, children's funerals, and pre-paid funeral plans, with in-house design and printing of order-of-service materials. All directors follow the UK Funeral Director Code and the firm emphasises a personal, professional and respectful service.
Pricing is published via a location-specific funeral price guide, reflecting the firm's multi-branch structure across Devon and Cornwall.
