T. W. Fuggle & Son is an independent, family-run funeral director founded on 12 July 1930 by Thomas William Fuggle, still operating from the same Ashford Road premises in Tenterden over 90 years later. The firm is now run by fourth-generation partners Crispin and Simon Fuggle, the founder's great-grandsons, together with colleague Julie McMahon.
Proud members of the National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD), the team offers a private chapel of rest, burial and cremation arrangements, religious and non-religious services, a green funeral option and a Direct to Crematorium service, as well as a bespoke option they call "The Nobel Funeral" for families wanting something more elaborate. The firm is available 24 hours a day for Tenterden, Ashford and the surrounding villages.
The partners take particular pride in staff presentation, vehicle condition and the appearance of their premises, combining nearly a century of continuity at the same location with a calm, compassionate approach to contemporary funeral planning.
