T. Cribb & Sons describes itself on its own site as an independent, family-owned funeral director established in 1881 by Thomas Cribb, now run by the fifth generation of the family, including great-grandsons Graham and John.
Services include cremations and burials, direct cremation, prepaid funeral plans, vintage motor and horse-drawn hearse hire, worldwide repatriations, exhumations, bespoke masonry, and jewellery made from cremated remains.
The Beckton branch, Victoria House on Woolwich Manor Way, includes a funeral service room for up to 120 guests with an adjoining function room and a Chinese Niche Remembrance Garden, and the firm serves East London and Essex, including Basildon, Chelmsford, Southend, Romford and Ilford.
