T Cribb and Sons was established in 1881 by Thomas Cribb and remains an independent, family-owned business now run by the fifth generation, partners Graham and John Cribb and their children Catherine, Sarah, Nichola, Jack and Joe. This branch on Dalston Lane serves Hackney and the wider East London area, offering cremations, burials, direct cremations and international repatriations, plus horse-drawn and vintage motor hearse options and coffin and casket selection.
Across the wider business, families can also draw on a service room seating around 120 guests, bespoke masonry, and a dedicated Chinese Niche Remembrance Garden at the firm's Beckton head office for traditional Chinese funerals. The firm belongs to the National Association of Funeral Directors and SAIF, and is a member of FIAT-IFTA for international repatriation work.
