T Cribb and Sons was established in 1881 by Thomas Cribb and remains an independent, family-owned business now run by the fifth generation, partners Graham and John Cribb and their children. This branch, The Willows on The Broadway in Pitsea, serves the Basildon area of Essex with cremations, burials, direct cremations and repatriation services, alongside horse-drawn and vintage motor hearses and coffin and casket selection.
The wider business also offers bespoke masonry and a service room accommodating around 120 guests, and its Beckton head office is home to a dedicated Chinese Niche Remembrance Garden for traditional Chinese funerals. The firm is a member of the National Association of Funeral Directors and SAIF, and belongs to FIAT-IFTA for international repatriation.
