T Allen Funeral Service is a family-owned, independent funeral director founded in September 1995 by Lynn and Terry Allen in Rochester, Kent. Terry Allen began his career in the funeral trade in 1972 at the age of 15, working for Francis Chappel and Sons, where he learned coffin preparation, deceased collection and pallbearing before starting his own firm two decades later. The business has since grown to include branches in Strood, Rainham and Twydall, serving families across Kent and Medway.

The firm offers personalised, attended funerals as well as burials, cremations, eco-friendly and non-religious services, alongside private chapels of rest and pre-paid funeral plans arranged through Ecclesiastical Planning Services. Its fleet includes a Land Rover hearse, a Daimler hearse and a vintage 1963 Vanden Plas Austin Princess hearse, giving families a choice of traditional and classic vehicles. A 24-hour telephone service operates alongside standard Monday-to-Friday office hours for arranging funerals and dealing with emergencies.

T Allen is a member of the National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD) and publishes a standardised price list covering attended funerals and direct cremation.
