T A Ellement & Son has been caring for families across the Hillingdon and Harrow boroughs since 1891, more than 135 years, and remains family-run under the Carnague family today. The Ruislip branch on High Street forms part of a small local network alongside sister offices in Pinner, Northwood and Rickmansworth, giving the firm strong roots across north-west London. The team arranges traditional burials and cremations, woodland and eco-friendly burials using biodegradable coffins, and direct cremation, alongside memorial and headstone work. Distinctive touches include a range of specialist funeral cars - among them horse-drawn, motorbike, fire engine and flatbed lorry hearses, and even a Del Boy-themed option - plus floral tributes through a partnership with Linda Martin Flowers, chapel of rest facilities and prepaid funeral plans. Staff are contactable 24 hours a day, seven days a week, reflecting the firm's ethos that a funeral should be as individual as the person it honours.
