Sue Gibbons Funeral Service was founded by Sue Gibbons, a former Northwest Ambulance Service employee and freelance embalmer, who formalised the business in Wigan after her father's death. Her husband Karl Gibbons, who previously worked at Co-op Funeralcare and Carriages Funeral Services in Manchester, now serves as Senior Funeral Director, with Paula Hammond and Suzanne Pennington supporting arrangements and administration at the St Pauls branch.
The independent, family-run business serves Wigan and the surrounding area with a personal approach shaped by Sue's background in bereavement care.
