Richard Steel & Partners is a family-owned funeral director that has operated since 1860 through four generations of the Steel family, described as the region's longest established family business still in the same family's ownership, and now also incorporates Nigel Chamberlain & Partners, trading for over 30 years.
Services include a 24-hour, 365-day arrangement service, a wide range of coffins and vehicles, use of the historic Chesil House venue (capacity 10-100) for services, bereavement support, funeral plans, flowers, memorials and a live webcast option, serving Winchester, Bishop's Waltham, Alresford and the Meon Valley.
The firm holds NAFD and SIFH (Selected Independent Funeral Homes) accreditation and states that "every funeral is unique and should reflect the financial situation and wishes of the family."
