Richard Green Funeral Service was founded in 1999 by Richard Green after 30 years working for larger funeral firms, wanting to move away from a corporate, "one size fits all" approach. This Uckfield office, at The Old Malt House, is the firm's original location, with a second branch opened in Lewes in 2005; the business remains wholly owner-controlled with no parent company involvement.
Services include traditional funeral services, direct cremation, green funerals, coffins and caskets, pre-paid Golden Charter funeral plans, memorial stones and monuments, and ashes caskets and keepsakes, with both locations offering comfortable lounges and private chapels of rest.
The firm is a member of the National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD), and Richard Green brings over 50 years of industry experience to the business's flexible, personalised service.
