Radcliffe Funeral Service Inc F Lindley and Son was established in 1964 by Brian Radcliffe, originally combining joinery with funeral direction in Honley. Now family-run by Gwen, Andrew and James Schofield alongside Ian Waterhouse, who joined the firm in 2020, the Kirkheaton office at The Lindens serves Huddersfield families with a private chapel of rest, burial and cremation arrangements, and pre-paid funeral plans through Golden Charter.
The firm holds NAFD, SAIF and British Institute of Embalmers accreditations, and its team follows the code of conduct set out by each of these bodies. Across its Honley and Kirkheaton premises, private chapels of rest allow families time with their loved one, reflecting the firm's stated commitment to professionalism, care and consideration for every family it serves.
