Radcliffe Funeral Service Inc F Lindley and Son has operated from Honley since the firm was founded in 1964 by Brian Radcliffe. The Holmfirth branch on Westgate is run today by the Schofield family - Gwen, Andrew and James - together with Ian Waterhouse, who joined the business in 2020, offering a private chapel of rest, burial and cremation services and pre-paid funeral plans through Golden Charter for the Holme Valley.
The firm is NAFD, SAIF and BIoE accredited, following the professional codes of conduct set by each body, and describes its approach as one of professionalism, care and consideration for every family it supports across the Holme Valley and Huddersfield area.
