Jonathan holds multiple professional qualifications, including MBIE, a Diploma in Funeral Directing and a postgraduate diploma in counselling.

The firm operates its own chapels of rest and fully equipped mortuary and preparation facilities, together with a fleet of hearses and limousines, allowing families to keep every stage of the funeral under one trusted roof. Ryland is a member of the British Institute of Embalmers, the British Institute of Funeral Directors and the National Society of Allied and Independent Funeral Directors, and Jonathan also acts as an on-call consultant for Kenyon International Emergency Services.
