The Hindley branch of R Banks & Son (Funerals) Ltd, based at Century House on Wigan Road, brings the same independent, family-owned care that has defined the business across the Wigan borough. Run under the guidance of Managing Director Carina Halliwell Jones, the team holds qualifications with the British Institute of Embalmers and is a member of NAFD and SAIF, reflecting a genuine commitment to professional standards.
Families arranging a funeral in Hindley can choose from traditional services, bespoke ceremonies, and direct cremation, supported by round-the-clock availability every day of the year. The branch also helps families plan ahead through Golden Charter pre-paid funeral plans, and offers a thoughtful selection of caskets, urns, memorial keepsakes and headstones.
Being part of the wider R Banks & Son group means the Hindley office can call on decades of combined local knowledge while still offering the personal, unhurried attention that comes from dealing directly with a family firm rather than a distant head office.
