Pritchard & Sons was established in 1890 in Llandrindod Wells, with Thomas Pritchard taking over leadership in 1891 at the age of 21 and running the firm until his death in 1934. Now in its second century of continuous operation, the business is currently managed by Lee Morris, who joined the firm in 2007 and leads a team offering guidance from simple cremations to traditional burials.
Operating from Oxford Road in Llandrindod Wells and serving the wider Mid Wales community, the firm arranges cremations, direct cremations, cemetery burials, green funerals and non-religious services. Facilities include a private chapel of rest described as "a quiet and peaceful place" for families, a modern funeral fleet, and a horse-drawn hearse for those wanting a more traditional send-off.
