McCusker Bros is an independent, family-run funeral directing business that has served the Magherafelt community since 1967, when it was founded by brothers James and Thomas P. McCusker. Danny McCusker later joined following James's death in 1972, and the firm is now run by the next generation, directors Enda J. McCusker and Tom McCusker, sons of founder Tommy.
The directors hold professional qualifications with NAFD, BIFD, Dip.F.D. and the British Institute of Embalmers, and the business offers funeral arrangement and coordination, embalming, funeral notices and acknowledgement services for bereaved families. Alongside its Rainey Street office, the company operates a dedicated funeral home on Garden Street, available 24/7 across Magherafelt and Mid Ulster.
The firm describes its guiding principles as respect, professionalism and sensitivity, and accepts a range of payment methods including cash, cheque, BACS and card, reflecting a practical, family-oriented approach to supporting local families.
