Knox & Son has served Warrington from its Orford Road premises for over 120 years, making it one of the town's most established funeral directors. The branch trades under its own name as part of the Funeral Partners group, a national network of around 297 branches across England and Wales, and is a member of the National Association of Funeral Directors.

The team offers traditional funerals, burials, cremations, green and woodland funerals, unattended cremations and repatriation, together with memorial masonry, coffin and urn selection, ashes caskets and keepsakes, floral tributes, transport, funeral stationery and probate assistance. Pre-paid funeral plans are also available. The premises include four private chapels of rest, wheelchair access and free parking, and the branch has access to local crematoriums and cemeteries including Walton Lea, Altrincham and Howe Bridge.
