John Grenfell & Son is an independent, family-owned Northumberland funeral director that has traded since 1880, now in its fourth generation, and was formerly known as D. Davies. The firm has four locations across the North East, with its head office in Bedlington and further branches in Ashington, Blyth and Morpeth, the latter on Manchester Street offering attended and unattended funerals to families across the area.

Services include cremations, burials, modern embalming, non-religious and alternative funerals, registration advice, funeral notices and pre-paid funeral plans through Golden Charter, an FCA-regulated provider. Staff conduct home visits and are available around the clock, seven days a week, and the firm publishes its own CMA-compliant standardised price list.
