Jennings Funeral Directors traces its roots to F.W. Collins, who founded the business in Bilston over a century ago and was a well-known local figure, including as director of Bilston Town Bowling Club. The branch now trades as part of the Dignity Funerals group, described on its own site as "a collection of the UK's finest funeral directors," while retaining local heritage and branding.
The Bilston branch offers both attended funerals (traditional or contemporary, with a ceremony) and simpler unattended cremations, along with two private Chapels of Rest, memorials and tributes, prepaid funeral plans, and help registering a death. It serves Bilston and the wider Wolverhampton area, alongside sister Dignity branches in Sedgley, Wednesfield, Codsall, Willenhall, Horseley Fields, Wombourne, Oxley and Penn.
