Hogben and Partis is Faversham, Kent's only independent, family-owned funeral director, based on Stone Street and offering attended funerals, direct cremation, burial and bespoke arrangements. Established in 1965 through the merger of John Hogben's coffin-making business with Peter Partis's carriage business, the firm traces its heritage to horse-drawn hearses the Partis family operated from the 1800s, one of which is now preserved at the National Trust Carriage Museum at Arlington Court.
The firm offers eco-friendly funerals, horse-drawn services, and memorial and headstone work, and is a member of the National Association of Funeral Directors, the Association of Green Funeral Directors, and an accredited Golden Charter funeral plan provider.
