Heritage Funeral Service operates the Varteg Funeral Home, Varteg Road, Varteg, near Pontypool, as the second branch of the independent Heritage Funeral Service Ltd group, which also has an office on Broad Street, Pontypool. The Varteg site offers attended funerals, unattended/direct cremation and burial arrangements across Torfaen and the wider Blaenau Gwent area.
The firm is a member of both the National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD) and SAIF, and offers natural and eco-friendly funeral options alongside traditional services, with a family-led approach to arranging.
Having two local branches gives families in the Torfaen valleys a choice of nearby premises for chapel of rest visits and arranging appointments.
