Harpin's Funeral Service traces its roots to 1932 and now operates as a trading name of Funeral Partners Limited, a Nottingham-based network of independently-branded funeral homes. Alongside this Normanton branch on the High Street, the group runs three further locations serving the wider Wakefield district - Wakefield, Horbury and Outwood.
The branch offers traditional and unattended cremation services, burials, and green or woodland funerals, alongside memorial masonry, coffin selection, urns and keepsakes, transport, floral tributes, probate assistance and funeral stationery. A dedicated fleet of cars is maintained, and home visit consultations can be arranged for families who prefer not to travel to the branch.
Funerals are tailored to reflect the unique life of the person who has died, with prices starting from £1,750 excluding third-party fees. Staff are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and a published standardised price list is available for local families.
