H J Paintin Ltd is an independent, family-owned funeral director based at 8 Morleys Place, Cambridge, with additional offices in Linton and Haverhill serving Cambridgeshire, Suffolk and Essex. The firm offers full attended funerals, unattended cremation and burial, chapel of rest facilities, memorial services and pre-arranged funeral planning, available 24/7/365.
Founded in 1909, the business is now run by the fourth generation of the family, with current Managing Director Rothgar Paintin descended from founder Augustus Did-Dell; the firm originally combined building, blacksmith and undertaking trades before focusing solely on funeral services from the 1960s onward.
All three Paintin offices offer disabled access and chapel of rest facilities, giving families a choice of local branch for arranging and visiting.
