H D Tribe was founded in 1929 and has grown into one of West Sussex's longer-established funeral directors, with its Shoreham office home to one of the firm's two multi-denominational service chapels - the other being in Worthing. The business is a member of the National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD) and SAIF, and one of only 34 European members of the National Selected Morticians society.
The group aims to provide everything a family needs to arrange a funeral under one roof, including its own in-house stonemasons and caterers and a flower partnership with Findon Flowers, rather than referring these services elsewhere. The Shoreham team can help with burials, cremations, green burials, burials at sea, memorial masonry, funeral flowers, catering for wakes, pre-paid funeral plans and free bereavement counselling.
With a dedicated service chapel on site, a chapel of rest, and support available 24 hours a day, the Shoreham branch reflects the wider H D Tribe ethos of quality, dignity and reliability built up over nearly a century of serving West Sussex families.
