G Holland and Son (Funeral Directors) Ltd traces back to 1902, when George Holland began offering funeral services from a hardware shop, before the firm moved to Vestry Road, Street, in 1964. The Holland family continues to run the business, supported by staff including Jane Bartlett and Patrick James Broughton.
Services include funeral arrangement and direction, mortuary facilities, and monumental masonry. The premises include "Street's very own Public Mortuary," dating to 1964 and once used by police for post-mortems, now incorporated into the Chapel of Rest.
The firm serves Street, Somerset and the surrounding area.
