F Irving and Son is an independent, family-owned funeral service that has served Frizington and the surrounding Cumbria area for over 60 years. The business is run by brothers Malcolm and Stephen Irving, with Malcolm a qualified funeral director.
Services include funeral arrangement and planning, pre-paid funeral plans in partnership with Golden Charter, direct cremation, funeral announcements, a modern funeral vehicle fleet, and a 24-hour call-out service. The firm also offers bereavement support and memorial items, and can arrange modern, non-religious and alternative funerals, with arrangements available at the family lounge or in clients' own homes.
F Irving and Son is a member of the National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD) and adheres to its code of conduct, and describes itself as sympathetic towards all ethnic and religious groups.
