Elizabeth Way & Company was established in 2007 and today trades as part of Funeral Partners Limited, one of the UK's larger funeral services groups with nearly 300 branches nationwide. The Mossley branch operates from 18 Stamford Street and serves families across Tameside, offering cremations, burials, green and woodland funerals, unattended (direct) cremations, and repatriation, alongside memorial masonry, coffin selection, floral tributes, transport and probate support.
The firm is available 24 hours a day and describes its approach as providing tailored funerals that reflect the unique life of the person who has died, with home-visit consultations offered as an alternative to office appointments. It runs the Elizabeth Way Community Fund to support local causes, is a member of the National Association of Funeral Directors, and is authorised (via its Funeral Partners group arrangements) to sell prepaid funeral plans regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
