E C Mills has cared for families across North and West London since 1935, when founder Ernest Charles Mills established the business in Willesden. Nearly 90 years on it's still family run, now under the direction of his son Roger Mills and Roger's wife Shirley, with the original Willesden head office joined by branches in Harlesden and Acton to cover a wider stretch of North West London.

The team is a member of the National Association of Funeral Directors and offers Golden Charter pre-paid funeral plans. Services include 24-hour support, a wide choice of coffins and caskets, domestic and international repatriation, help with death registration, and home consultations for families who'd prefer to make arrangements without leaving the house. Horse-drawn carriage funerals are also available for families wanting a more traditional send-off.

The firm has a long history of serving London's Irish and Jamaican communities in particular, and describes its role in vocational terms - blending professional expertise with genuine, practical support for grieving families throughout Willesden, Harlesden, Acton and the surrounding areas.
