D J Screen and Sons Family Funeral Service is an independent, family-owned funeral director with a branch at 98 Elland Road, Brookfoot, Brighouse, West Yorkshire, established in 1992. The business also operates a second location in Fartown, Huddersfield, and markets itself as "the closest independent family funeral director to Huddersfield & Parkwood Crematoria."
The firm is a member of both the National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD) and SAIF, and is known locally for its fleet of Daimlers, Jaguars and Range Rovers used for funeral processions. Services cover burial, cremation, direct cremation, repatriation, prepaid funeral plans and floral/coffin arrangements, available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
The Brighouse branch can be reached on 01484 719999, distinct from the Huddersfield office's separate number, giving families a choice of two local, independently-run funeral homes across the wider Calderdale/Kirklees area.
