D.J. Bewley Funeral Directors is an independent, family-run business with its office at 15 Bank Street, Melksham, Wiltshire, providing funeral services in the county since 1970. It is run by Patrik and Cheryl Bewley alongside their children Ryan and Krystle, operating from five Wiltshire locations including Trowbridge, Devizes, Corsham and Bradford-on-Avon.
The firm specialises in environmentally friendly natural and woodland burials alongside traditional funerals, burials, cremations and memorial masonry, and accommodates funerals for all denominations with its own chapel seating up to 40 people. It is an appointed representative of Golden Charter Limited, regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
As one of five branches sharing a group-wide standardised price list, the Melksham office is the firm's original base, continuing nearly five decades of independent, family-owned funeral care.
