W.J Wright Funeral Directors, trading as Cotswold Assistance Ltd, is an independent funeral director based at Rectory House, High Street, Bourton-on-the-Water, and one of the few remaining independents serving the Cotswolds. It covers Northleach, Stow-on-the-Wold, Moreton-in-Marsh, Chipping Campden and Shipton-under-Wychwood, offering burials, cremations, direct cremation, floral arrangements and a range of coffins and caskets.
The firm has been providing funeral services to the Cotswolds for over 40 years, building long-standing local trust in an area with few independent alternatives to national chains. It is a full member of the Society of Allied Independent Funeral Directors (SAIF) and partners with Golden Charter for pre-paid funeral plans.
Office hours run Monday to Friday, 9am-4pm, with 24/7 emergency support available outside those times, giving Cotswold families round-the-clock access to an established local firm.
