Also known as Chris Sample Funerals, Your Choice Funerals is a family-run firm covering North and South Tyneside from four branches - South Shields, North Shields, Whitley Bay and Seaton Delaval - extending its reach across Northumberland and the wider North East.
They're SAIF members and have signed the Fair Funerals Pledge, committing to clear, honest pricing across their published packages. The team has picked up Golden Charter's National Funeral Planner of the Year award three years running, alongside regional honours.
Families can choose from a direct cremation, a traditional funeral with full ceremony, direct burial or a humanist service, with a chapel of rest available for private visits and a professional vehicle fleet. Costs can also be spread through FuneralSafe financing, and the firm markets itself on affordability and transparency, with no hidden fees on any of its packages.
