Bowley & Gallagher is a family-owned funeral firm based in Preston Park, serving Brighton, Hove, Patcham and the surrounding area, and has operated locally for over 24 years. Between them, the Gallagher family bring over 90 years of industry experience, and director Paul Bowley has worked in the profession since 1980, giving the firm a depth of combined experience that spans generations.
The team includes qualified funeral directors, embalmers, bereavement counsellors and an in-house stonemason, allowing the firm to cover funeral direction, coffin provision, memorial masonry, floral tributes and catering arrangements without relying on external contractors for most of what a family needs. Home visits can be arranged for families who prefer not to travel to the Preston Park offices, and the firm describes its approach as compassionate, respectful and dedicated, tailoring each funeral to the individual wishes of the family concerned rather than offering a standard package.
