A.W. Lymn - The Family Funeral Service was originally formed in 1907 and remains wholly owned and managed by the founding Lymn Rose family, with Nigel Lymn Rose (a former NAFD president), his sister Jackie and her son Matthew at the helm of the group today. Established in 1992 at Rutland House, 128 Melton Road, the West Bridgford office is run by senior funeral director Edward Martin (with the firm since 2021), funeral director Andrew Brown (since 2018) and funeral arranger Santanna Nightingale (since 2021).
The branch has a visiting room, family rooms and parking to front and rear, and offers full funeral arrangement and direction, burial and cremation coordination, and vintage and luxury vehicle hire including the group's Rolls-Royce fleet and horse-drawn carriage services for families wanting a more traditional funeral. It serves West Bridgford and the surrounding area, including Bradmore, Bunny, Keyworth, Tollerton and Widmerpool.
Office hours are Monday to Friday 9am-5pm and Saturday 9am-12:30pm, with emergency assistance available at any time.
