Allen & Son Funeral Directors is an independent funeral home in Moreton-in-Marsh, Gloucestershire, founded by the Allen family in 1928 and serving the community for nearly a century. The firm offers church and family-plot burials, natural burials, cremations including direct cremation, memorial services, ashes interment and memorial jewellery made from ashes.
In June 2022 ownership passed to husband-and-wife team Diane and James Drury, who bring their own funeral industry experience, while previous owner Peter Allen remains available to support the new proprietors, preserving continuity of the long-standing family name. The business is a member of the National Society of Allied Independent Funeral Directors (SAIF) and partners with Golden Charter for pre-paid funeral plans.
The firm has a spacious chapel of rest with convenient parking, operates 24 hours a day year-round, and serves Moreton-in-Marsh together with parts of Warwickshire, Oxfordshire and Worcestershire.
