Alexanders Funeral Care is a family-run independent funeral director in Grimsby, founded by Tony Alexander in February 2007 after nearly 20 years serving the local community; he qualified as a funeral director in 1994, and the business received the North East Lincolnshire Enterprise Award for New Business in 2008. The business remains family-operated, with son David Alexander a qualified funeral director and wife Vicky supporting the practice.
Based at Alexander House on Carr Lane, a converted and extended former shop, the firm offers light, welcoming and wheelchair-accessible rooms, a private chapel of rest with viewing available at any time by prior appointment at no extra charge, and dedicated family consultation rooms. The team offers a dedicated pallbearer and chauffeur service and a fleet of silver or black funeral cars, alongside coffin and urn selection, music and eulogy support, obituary notices, floral tributes, order of service sheets and pre-paid funeral plans through Golden Charter, guided by a stated commitment to 'dignity, compassion and care'.
