Founded in 1881 by John Thomas Willis, the business has been family-run for over 140 years, currently operated by Stewart McVernon and his sons Jon and David; the current purpose-built facility opened in the late 1960s with private chapels and a mortuary and has recently been fully refurbished.
The firm is a member of the National Association of Funeral Directors and serves Lancaster, Morecambe, and the surrounding Lancashire area.
