Trading as Williams & Co, ACW Funerals has been part of the Caerphilly community since 1851, making it one of the few remaining independent funeral directors in the area still going after more than 170 years. Owner Adrian Walters and his family run the business day to day, holding NAFD, SAIF and BIE accreditation along with Gold status with Golden Charter for pre-paid plans.
Alongside the main Newbridge office at Tynewydd Terrace, there's a second branch in Trethomas on Newport Road, giving the firm coverage across Caerphilly, Newbridge, Rogerstone, Crumlin, Ystrad Mynach, Risca and Bassaleg. Traditional funerals, direct cremations and unattended burials are all catered for, alongside memorial arrangements, funeral planning packages and guidance on post-death procedures, with an online quote calculator for families wanting an early indication of cost.
The firm is available to help families 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and has built a strong local reputation for personalised, family-centred care, reflected in consistently high customer reviews across both branches.
